July 9, 2026 – Irrigation and Nutrient Management Field Day

University of Minnesota Extension and Minnesota Potato Growers Association are hosting an Irrigation and Nutrient Management Field Day on Thursday, July 9th, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Sand Plain Research Farm (SPRF) in Becker, MN. This free field day will include a complimentary dinner.
Please park by the first plot on the tour. There will be a hayride to the rest of the plots, followed by dinner at the research station shed.

August 12, 2026 – Rosholt Field Day

Date: Wednesday, August 12th
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Rosholt Research Farm – 910 Old Hwy 28, Westport, MN
This free event features presentations on how irrigation, tillage, and cover crops impact yield and nitrate leaching, first‑year results from Central Minnesota sandy soils, insights from ten years of nitrogen best‑management practices paired with cover crops, and demonstrations of soil‑moisture probe and weather‑station technologies. The day will conclude with a cover crop farmer panel featuring local growers.
Lunch is included and will be grilled by the Cattlemen’s Association. CEUs are pending.

August 28, 2026 – Central Lakes College Field Day

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Central Lakes College Ag & Energy Center, Staples, MN
This annual event features hands-on demonstrations, equipment ride-and-drive opportunities, precision agriculture technology, drone applications, soil health and irrigation innovations, edible bean research, and more. A free lunch program will be included. Vendors, educational exhibits, and networking opportunities will be available throughout the day.

January 21, 2027 – Central Minnesota Irrigators Annual Meeting – Perham, MN
Join irrigators, industry partners, and agency representatives from across Central Minnesota for the 2027 Central Minnesota Irrigators (CMI) Annual Meeting. This annual gathering brings producers together to hear key updates, discuss regional issues, and connect with partners who support irrigated agriculture.
