August 2023 – Central Lakes College Field Day

The annual field day for Central Lakes College Ag & Energy showcasing the ongoing research, trails, and latest technology.

January 2024 – CMI Annual meeting

The 2024 Annual meeting of the Central Minnesota Irrigators is tentatively scheduled for January 18, 2024 at New York Mills Ballroom in New York Mills, MN.

February 2024 – IAM Annual Meeting

Irrigators Association of Minnesota is a statewide association solely concerned with irrigated agriculture and dedicated to the management of Minnesota land and water resources. IAM held their previous Annual Meeting on February 16, 2023 at the Community Center in Freeport, MN.

February 2024 – IAM Day on the Hill

Join our group of irrigators, landowners, researchers and industry representatives to meet with legislators in both the House and the Senate to have a conversation about our bill, agriculture and irrigation and the impact of policies on the ag industry.

Events like this give us an opportunity to tell our story and educate individuals who might not be familiar with irrigation in the state of Minnesota. It also allows us to continue to build on as well as make new relationships with lawmakers in St. Paul.

Scholarship Opportunity

We offer scholarships to high school instructors for funding educational projects that focus on water quality/precision agriculture.  The request amount can be up to $500.00.  CMI will determine the number awards to be issued – minimum of one will be awarded.  The CMI mission is: Our mission is to educate, inform and promote research irrigation techniques.
